Yvan-Angelo Rodionov is an award-winning cinematographer working across narrative film and documentary. A graduate of MetFilm School London, he is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Cinematography at FAMU in Prague. His international experience spans productions across Europe, Asia, and the United States.

 

His credits include the feature film Where There Is Love, There Is No Darkness, starring Oumar Diaw and Albert Delpy, for which his cinematography received two awards and an additional nomination.

 

In 2026, he was selected as one of 50 international filmmakers to participate in the Werner Herzog Experience in the Azores, an intensive filmmaking program conducted under Herzog’s direct mentorship.

 

Rodionov’s work is shaped by a collaborative approach to filmmaking, a strong engagement with cinematic tradition, and a particular affinity for shooting on film.
